Herbed Buttered Popcorn


I was watching the Fine Living Network and Andrea Immel, the wonderful wine sommelier, was pairing Pinot Noir with food.  She pointed out that Pinot was so herbaceous that it pairs very well with any herb.  She made buttered popcorn with dried rosemary.  Just pop your popcorn, butter it and add a tsp or so, depending on your taste, of dried rosemary.  You could use any dried herb you like.  She was right.  This was wonderful with a Pinot.  What an easy, wonderful appetizer for a casual dinner.
